Snow Shoes!

Beau and I were given snow shoes by Patrick and Bonnie TWO years ago. He used his last winter, but mine still had the tags intact. They aren't anymore!

We went for a rigorous hike up in the hills behind my parent's house earlier today. It was cold, wet, and steep! Whew! We didn't quite get the the top of the "mountain", but made it about 2/3 of the way. We HOPE to make it all the way tomorrow.

The snow was untraveled previously, so we had to blaze our own path up the "mountain". Beau and I took turns leading, as whoever was in front had a much harder task! Here are a few photos from our trek up in the snow shoes. The moisture on our faces is a good mix of much earned SWEAT and snow! :)

Weather worn, but having fun!

Our Bella had such fun trudging through the snow - at many points she sunk in all the way to her chest.
