Captain UNDERPANTS!

Two years ago,
we were invited to a superhero birthday party.

Hazel went as Wonder Woman and Henley as....

 Captain Underpants!
He wore those undies well, over his diaper.
I remember shopping for "whitey-tighties" in size XS.
They seemed so BIG, and I stored them away...

...for a day like TODAY!
Captain Underpants takes on a while new meaning,
now that Henley is potty training!
Three weeks in and we have had only a few accidents.
He is amazing.
A superhero in our household for sure!
***
He has always been so full of surprises,
the ease of training him on the potty,
certainly is one of my favorites.

YAY, Henley boy!

SWINGIN'

In the past week Hazel has perfected the art of "pumping".

She can't even reach the ground to push off.

She gets herself going...
from a dead stop.
forward...
back...
forward...
back...

forward...
back...
Stretch those legs and...
SMILE for mommy!

***

Meanwhile,
across the park...
"When do you think Mommy is going to give us a push?"

***

So PROUD I am of Hazel the SWINGER!
(Swings were always my FAVORITE thing as a little girl...
okay, and as a BIG girl too!)

Happy Mother's Day to ME!

My idea of a perfect way to spend Mom's Day with those I LOVE...

A day at the beach!

Tongue curling,
a genetic thing.
Hazel and Henley received the "curling gene" from momma.
Daddy can't do it.
(The kids enjoy reminding him of this!)
Holden?
We shall see.

Always dancing...

teething?

Where's Henley...
...oh, there HE is!
"Sittin' on the dock of the bay...
...spending my day in a perfect way."

Happy Mother's Day!

Fun in the SUN!

We have been playing outside so much lately...
I am terribly behind in blogging.
I suppose spending  time with the kids is a good excuse?

Here are some pics to prove my excuse is a GOOD ONE!

We decided to paint our SNOWMAN...
...on the hottest day of the year (so far)!

Since we had paints out...
why not paint faces too?
A "munchkin" and his tub.
Silly mommy thought he would stay put.
The rocks were too enticing!
Henley took a SPIN (or 1000) in Holden's jumper!
(He MAY have worn a hole in his sock!)
Another "munchkin" enjoys the tub...
...and yet another!
GIANT baby!
Mr RED seeks the shade.
Playin' in Oakridge with Grandpa...

...are they the 2-5 or 5-12 age range?

Big dude and little dude.

 I see baby toes!

 Yep...couldn't resist!

Neither could the kids...resist the swings that is!

 Oh...baby toes AND baby hands!

Quite the mural on the park bathroom...
Impressive.

 Four Garner dudes.

Our pale guy is growing sooo fast.
Must be the sunshine!!

Henley loves ice cream...
almost as much as he loves UNCLE SETH!

 Beautiful!!!

 Happy guys!

 Hazel...
or...
Rapunzel...
or...
Goldilocks...
or...
MY SWEET & SILLY GIRL!

Have you been introduced to my little cowboy?

 Smoochie smooch from Goldilocked Hazel.

An evening stroll with Aunt Caspian...
and BABY COUSIN!

Blog done...now off to play in the SUN!
