HOME for Christmas!

This year we started a new tradition,

we were HOME for Christmas.

Sigh.

I am all for traditions,

I just didn't realize how I would react to a NEW one.

 

All in all,

the kids enjoyed waking up in their own beds Christmas morning.

I admit, I did too!

 

Thankfully, Nana and Papa were able to come later for a nice dinner.

Oakridge Christmas

Here is a glimpse at our early Oakridge Christmas celebration.

Our BEAUTIFUL Christmas TREE!

We took our annual adventure to

NORTHERN LIGHTS CHRISTMAS TREE FARM.

 

We LOVE this tradition!

 Here comes our tractor...

 Bumpity, bump...

 We found a BEAUTY.

 Left in the dust yet again!

 This little lady was delighted to guard our tree.

 He found a friend his own size.

 It took awhile,

but the kids finally made it home with the tree.

Traffic on Hwy 58 was horrific! 

 Henley held on tight.

 Later,

Santa Baby arrived to help decorate the tree.

 Did I say help decorate?

Whew, this Santa Baby is worn out!
