My precious!

Hazel's a Good Sport

Hazel humored her mama and played outside in my garden pot that needs some plants! I can't plant anything cuter than her though! Oh, and I have this pair of angel wings I had been wanting to put on her, and again....she was such a sport! She was most curious about the red tulips, I see her helping me garden in a few years! Don't pay attention to back yard in need of lots of TLC! Bella enjoyed having Hazel out in her space and didn't steal the tulip from Hazel's hand for at least 3 minutes!

Hey Ma

Pretty tulip I crush in my hands!

Bella in waiting....

Ma, I love how this flower feels in my chubby little hands!

Just before Bella snagged the flower....

Tastes Like Chicken

Cuz it was! Hazel ate MEAT for the first time, and looks like she is going to be a meat eater afterall! Her Nana bought me a book called, "Top 100 Baby Puree's" and in it was a recipee for "Chicken with Sweet Potato and Apple"....I made it and she ate it! Pureeing meat is a new thing for me...interesting. I of course sampled her entree, and I must admit, it was quite tasty! When I lose my teeth later in life I know what I can eat!

Beau and I are nervous though, as we hear that after a baby has meat introduced to their diet the poop takes a change for the worse. Hmm.

Daddy was wrong...Mommy really can cook!

Hazel Loves Bella...

Today, while Hazel was relaxing with some toys while mommy and daddy did some work...Bella decided to cuddle up with her. Bella is becoming more and more interested in our little person who makes funny sounds, smells nothing like her rawhide, and attracts more attention than even her at times.

Bella's growing interest in Hazel is entertaining to watch, and we are so happy that our prior thoughts of how loving Bella would be with the baby are coming true! Bella will be in doggie Heaven when Hazel becomes mobile, oh what fun that will be!!

Hazel's First Word...

...or is it just a sound? I take it as a word...you weigh in on it. :) Oh, and she loves her glow worm friend. He always cheers her up.

Will gets CHOPPED!

Beau was given permission by Will's parents to give the kid a new look for Spring! Check out the new buzz on his head! :)

Hazel meets Cohen!

Hazel and I had a play date out at Sydney and Mike's BEAUTIFUL home in the country. Their daughter, Shelby, was visiting with their adorable grandson, Cohen. Hazel has heard all about Cohen, seen pictures of Cohen, but until today had never met him. What fun we had spending such a pretty day visiting with their family! Cohen was born two weeks before Hazel this past summer. Hazel was a little shy, but Cohen was very giving of his big, handsome grin! :) What a cutie-pie. We were sad to leave, but hope to have another play date soon!

Girl feet, boy feet

A new trick of Cohen's, sticking out his tongue!

Holding hands

Happy new friends

Cohen waiting for the "high 5"

Cohen was nice enough to share a cracker with Hazel, her first....she loved it!

Daddy's New Toy!

Beau bought himself a toy he has apparently always wanted....a radio controlled car...actually, it is a Jeep. Here are some pictures and a video of him playing with it. (He used the $50 he won in his work's NCAA basketball tournament...he won and figured he would "play" with the money.)

SPRING!

Hazel is LOVING her first Spring. It is sooo warm here today, the car thermostat clocked 83 on my drive home from town about an hour ago. We met up with some friends at a park by the river and it was beautiful. She is so silly when she touches grass, such a funny texture for her. She absolutely adored having her chubby little legs free from her pants. It was her first time needing sunblock too, we should invest in it as she takes after her mommy with her fair skin.

Here are some pictures from today, and also some from the past week....Looks like Hazel takes after her mommy and daddy and loves the sunshine and warming weather that Spring brings!

Enjoying a sit on her bench!

Not too Springy...

(Carrie make sure you tell your mom that Hazel loves it.)

Hi Mom!

This is Hazel's "mom just woke me from my nap to go into town" face.

Ahh...Hazel loves having her chubs free to catch the breeze.

We may try this look again later...Hazel wasn't quite in the mood to be "Springy" here.

Cute outfit from Aussie Michelle :)

Hazel gets fed by Will...he was very willing.

I asked Will to assist in feeding Hazel this weekend and he seemed to really enjoy it...Hazel too! Will was very gentle and patient while feeding the moving target! Ever since the first feeding, Will seems genuinely more interested in Hazel. Hazel is just happy to eat, not so picky about who is doing the feeding! :)

More California Pics

Hazel was soooo fond of her cousin Kelsey!
(I love how Hazel has her hand on Kelsey's leg.)

Hazel gets a bath with help from Nana and Chris.

Are those bubbles from the soap?

We stopped on the drive home in Redding to walk across the Sundial Bridge.

Here is Hazel taking a bath in Stockton last week!

Re-Do

I dressed Hazel up in her Easter dress this afternoon to try and recreate a few photos from Easter (that I lost last week).
