Weekend at Nana & Papa's

It has been such a BUSY summer. We finally got a weekend free to go up and spend time at Nana & Papa's house. We celebrated the wedding of Rusty & Dexter while we were up as well. I always enjoy some extra hands to help with diapers, potty training, and all the 100's of other things that occupy my days as a mommy. Thanks mom and dad for having up our silly group - Bella included of course. (Bella loves hanging out with Lily, and I believe the feeling is mutual.)

Henley is fascinated by Lily, a dog that will lie STILL! Bella isn't one to lie still for long.

Henley shows Nana his big boy walking skills.

The focus isn't right, but couldn't resist sharing this one. Does he look much older than his 11 months or what? My baby isn't such a baby anymore!!

A brief moment of sibling quiet. Moments later you can picture Hazel squeezing Henley, Henley toppling over, and Nana rescuing him. Such sibling LOVE. We don't know when Hazel will figure out how to be a little less INTENSE in showing her affection for her brother!

Cheeseball.

"Watch my BIG jump Mommy!"

Nana gets a squeeze in. Hazel does too.

Hazel has a thing for EARS. Watch out, next time you are close to her, she will ask to touch your ear. Seriously. Funny girl.

Henley prefers to touch dogs.

The bride, Rusty, her groom, Dexter and their parents.

Hazel shows her stretching abilities to her very impressed daddy.

Two of my favorite hams.

Henley snuggled with Papa through most of the reception. It was COLD. Fall is coming!

The Lindstroms, Kurt & Jessamy. Their daughter is married. Over nine years ago, Rusty was my Jr. Bridesmaid.

Rusty found this darling cake topper. The groom is fishing and gets the best "catch" of his life!

Congrats Rusty & Dexter!
