Henley is HERE!

Our little boy was born yesterday, October 4th, at 3:40 in the afternoon. He is perfect in every way and Hazel is already a doting big sister. Henley was 7 lbs 1.8 oz and measured 21" long. He has dark hair, much like the hair that Hazel had when she was first born. (She ended up losing it all.) He looks a lot like his sister, though definitely has his daddy's long toes!

We are so thankful for our son. He has a very mellow temperament and is a good eater already. He has had a quiet first day of life today, and LOVES being held. He reacts to his mommy's touch by calming down quickly and relaxing. What a sweet little boy.

Beau, unfortunately, has been dealing with a lingering illness and therefore wasn't able to stay with us last night (nor tonight). He is home resting and hopefully will be well very soon. It is hard to not have him with us, but we are all being cautious and keeping Henley well is our top priority. Thankfully, Beau was able to be here yesterday for the birth, and was even able to sport a stylish mask all day.
