Okay...so house rule is he is required to spend an hour (at least) outside with independent play AND read for an hour...he got both done at once. Funny having to require a child to "play" outside in the beautiful summer weather....oh the age of video games! :(

Smart kid to kill 2 birds with one stone... I'm with you - I used to spend from sun up to sun down outside in the summer playing, are we getting old??? Hee, hee...
