Trip to Bend - Happy Birthday Patrick!

We headed over the mountains to Bend to visit Patrick, Bonnie and Jack this past weekend.  Also visiting were Nana, Papa and Great Grammy.  We all celebrated together Patrick's birthday and the cousins all enjoyed playing...playing...PLAYING!  Hazel, Henley and Holden LOVED seeing their cousin Jack, and he was so very kind to share his fantastic playroom with them.

Thanks for a superb weekend family!  Here are some pictures (more than some I suppose, and some "borrowed" from Bonnie's blog) capturing some of our family fun...

Hazel and Bella eager to arrive at Patrick and Bonnie's home.
We headed out for a stretch of the legs.
Henley LOVES his Bonnie.  He spent the weekend insisting on her help with everything.  She was so happy to oblige.  Thanks sweet Aunt Bonnie!
A BEAUTIFUL view enjoyed at the top of Pilot Butte.
Note our sweet Bella peeking between us.
Please think happy thoughts for our Bella Blue, she is not well...sigh.
 Father and Son.
Down below the Butte, these cousins enjoyed lots of PLAY!
Great Grammy's great for a cuddle.
 Cousin LOVE!
 My nephew is soooo cute!
Drool-man himself.  Holden LOVED the bright and WARM sunshine in Jack's playroom.
 Our two fair-headed, blue-eyed babes.
Bella basked in the early morning sunshine.
Gotta love Bend's sunshine.
Late morning snooze with Papa.
Papa was the Holden-whisperer for the weekend.
(You should have heard him singing to Holden.  Sweet.)
Cousin pj play time.
Jack loves looking outside and watching the world around him.
Know these silly two?  I do...I do...I do!
Hazel sneaks in a smooch as Jack makes his getaway.
Darling boy.
Love his smile!

How cute are these little noggins?

Jack couldn't resist a Holden squeeze.
Hazel loves her baby brother.
Holden loves his Hazel AND this toy of Jack's!
Toes...toes...toes.

Growing so fast.  Such a great sitter already!
We played in the bits of snow there was still outside.
I was determined to build a snowman.  Brr.
Such fun to see the kids throw snowballs for Bella.
She seemed her old-self.
"Ready Bella?"
My snowman was a good size for Holden, but Beau thought it was not quite good enough...
Adorning Beau's friendly TALL snowman.
Patrick would have helped, but his hands were rather full.
More snow for Bella.

Arms and nose going on...just about done.
Nana loves her BOYS!
Hazel and Henley say hello to the friendly tall fella.
Certainly (s)he deserves a proper name.
Hazel says, "Hazel Lisa"
Henley says, "Henley Roland"
Holden says, "dadadadadada"
Becky says, "Skinny Tall Iced Man"
Beau, "?"
(Others can leave suggestions in comments.)
Then the family shots...
"funny face"
(Why did only my immediate family oblige?)
Nana always shy!
For Patrick's birthday, Great Grammy gave him grandpa's dominoes.
Hazel decorated Nana.
Our friendly neighborhood guy made of snow began to LEAN.
"He lean like this."
Hazel gets some energy out before our drive home yesterday.

Henley shared the back row with his "best friend" Bella.

Great weekend family!!
