Hazel turns FOUR!

Last Thursday, September 8th, our little girl turned FOUR.  Hazel was so excited for her birthday, and waking her up to announce, "You are FOUR today!" was such fun.  Here are some pictures from a very special day for my very special girl.

Such a happy girl who woke on her birthday morning!  It was a work day for daddy and mommy, and a school day for Hazel.  We gave her our present before our days got going.  Speaking of getting going...check out these NEW wheels for our big FOUR year old...

Such DELIGHT in her big girl BIKE!

I am missing a photo that came after this one.  It was of two SCRAPED knees and a sobbing birthday girl.  I was too busy playing nurse, and really, to document that was beyond even me!  Hazel has since nicely recovered and all day long she could be heard telling everyone she got a big girl bike AND two skinned knees for her birthday.  Oh well...had to happen sometime.  Do wish it hadn't happened on her birthday though.

Since we had to work on her birthday, and then Beau saw clients late, we stole Hazel away from school mid-day to treat our special birthday girl to a lunch out with mommy and daddy.  It was a special treat for all of us.

Not on her birthday, but in fact this morning...Hazel came with me to my salon.  We BOTH we treated to new haircuts (and me a color - she doesn't have any gray to cover at the age of FOUR).  Hazel thoroughly enjoyed the salon experience and already looks forward to going back again with me.  I look forward to it too!

What a grown up little girl you are becoming, my Hazel.  I love you sweetie!

We hurried home to show daddy our new do's.  He approved and we smiled.
