Week 3 of DANCE!

Hazel was once again all smiles for her dancing class. Tonight, they learned the arabesque, "a highly rotated hip placement, a great turnout, a high backward leg extension joined with perfect form and balance..."

Hazel's attempts at learning her arabesque were entertaining to say the least. Sorry, no videos of these...maybe next time. Here are a few photos and videos chronicling week THREE of dance for my very own tiny dancer.

Spins and jumps with the bear, and Henley voiced his encouragement to his sister. Hazel LOVES being able to watch herself in the FULL wall of mirror!

Hazel loved doing the airplane song last week and was thrilled when Miss Marie put it in to play. She was quite the flyer, galloper and dancer! When the music slows Hazel is the first to RUN to find a mat to land her plane on. Watch out other girls, Hazel needs to find her mat!! :)
