4 and a HALF Hazel

No joke...my Hazel turned 4 and a HALF last month.  She will tell you this with great emphasis on the HALF.  A big deal, halfway through four and nearly to FIVE.  Oh my.

Here's a little about my darling daughter at this ripe old age...

Hazel LOVES to draw and write.
She usually has a pencil or pen in her hand.
She loves drawing princesses.
She loves writing her letters.
She is putting words together.
She knows all the sounds her letters make.
She can READ!

Hazel is a performer.
She may pretend to be shy.
Don't be fooled.
This girl loves to dance and spin and jump.
She is a runner too.
I love all the energy this girl has inside.
Never a dull moment with Hazel around.

Hazel loves to do her hair.
She often comes out with MANY bows in her hair.
She may coordinate with outfits...
Or she may go for a different kind of statement!
She really loves to switch earrings.
She and mommy share at times!
She LOVES her YOGA pants.
...from Target.
She has only two pairs.
Mommy washes them A LOT.

Hazel is a fantastic big sister to BROTHERS.
What a helper she is...
Hazel, please get a diaper.
Honey, could you bring me a burp cloth?
Hazel, Holden needs a tissue.
I could go on...
What a sweet girl.
LOVE YOU HAZEL.

 Hazel adores her family.
So much so that she hates to say goodbyes.
So many tearful goodbyes lately.
Our sensitive little lady.
Hazel loves having both sets of grandparents in Oregon!

Hazel is always thinking.
Those wheels turn, I love to hear the next idea...
or question.
What an adventure to watch this girl grow.
XOXO
Mommy
